Registration is now open

In just eight months’ time, the third edition of the People that Deliver (PtD) Global Indaba conference will get underway in Kigali, Rwanda. The PtD Global Indaba is the only international conference to focus on human resources for health supply chain management and will be held at the Kigali Marriot Hotel from 2-4 September 2025.

Registration has just opened, which means you can reserve your place for the early-bird price of USD 400. This price will increase on 1 July 2025.

The health supply chain workforce: At the heart of the conference

The people running health supply chains (SCs) – the SC workforce – are often overlooked but are so critical to health systems. The Global Indaba puts the spotlight on the essential role these workers play in providing populations access to health commodities and saving lives, and is aimed at supporting them.

The conference brings many health supply chain partners together, offering a space for countries, donor agencies, implementing partners, development organisations and the private sector to present and share experiences, as well as the knowledge generated in this area. It supports coordination among the various stakeholders, capturing best practices and models, and identifying opportunities to leverage expertise.

Exhibit at the PtD Global Indaba

At the PtD Global Indaba in Bangkok in 2024, we introduced Career square, an exhibition area dedicated to showcasing the educational resources, courses and approaches that are available to help supply chain professionals carve a career in the health supply chain management profession.

An exhibitor’s booth in Career square gives organisations an opportunity to share the educational tools and resources they offer, and to establish connections with the PtD Global Indaba participants.

Sanjay Saha, founder of Bee Skilled, was one of those who benefitted from the exhibition area and has already reserved his place in Career square in Kigali. Bee Skilled’s supply chain game was a star attraction in Bangkok, enticing most of the conference’s 250 participants to visit the Bee Skilled booth.

“Career square at the PtD Global Indaba in 2024 was a great addition to the conference. It allowed Bee Skilled to showcase innovations in e-learning and engage with the participants in supply chain games. These interactions were incredibly meaningful and gave us fantastic exposure.”

Find out more about exhibiting in Career square and get in touch with Jenny Froome to reserve your booth.

This year’s theme: The supply chain workforce: Inspiring the next generation

Youth and the workforce of the future will be at the centre of the PtD Global Indaba in 2025. The global health workforce is projected to face a shortage of ten million professionals by 2030 and at the same time we have the largest global youth population in history, with approximately 1.2 billion individuals aged 15 to 24 (United Nations), eighty-five percent of whom live in LMICs.

Recognising this window of opportunity, the PtD Global Indaba will centre on ensuring the supply chain management workforce of the future is empowered and equipped to run health supply chains.

Abstract submission will open at the beginning of March and to read more about the kinds of abstracts we’re looking for, keep an eye on the PtD Global Indaba website.
