Go straight to the PtD Global Indaba 2024 website
People that Deliver (PtD) has finalised the registration and abstract submission details for the PtD Global Indaba and will shortly open both of these through the Global Indaba website, which will be launched imminently.
The second edition of the PtD Global Indaba will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, between 6 and 8 March 2024 and will draw on discussions and revelations from the SAPICS conference and GHSC summit to unveil human resources for supply chain management solutions to transform health supply chains.
PtD’s executive manager Dominique Zwinkels said, “By holding the conference in Asia we hope to unite our African partners with organisations in the region; the real value of the Global Indaba comes from providing a platform for health supply stakeholders to talk about how they overcome what are often mutual challenges.”
PtD is working with its partners the International Association of Public Health Logisticians, Management Sciences for Health, Pharmaceutical Systems Africa and Upavon Management as well as local partners Mahidol University to provide an even more interactive and engaging conference than the hugely successful first edition, which was held in Zambia last October.
Rawinkhan Srinon, director of the Center for International Healthcare Logistics and Supply Chain at Mahidol University, is excited to see the Global Indaba come to Asia: “Thailand has many successful health supply chain workforce interventions to share with not only stakeholders from neighbouring countries in Asia, but also from the African continent and the rest of the globe. We’re looking forward to welcoming the health supply chain world to Bangkok.”
Registration will open shortly. Early bird tickets can be purchased for $350. From 30 November that price will rise to $450 and if purchased after 3 February 2024 a ticket will cost $550.
Abstract submission will also open shortly and we are looking for abstracts that fit in to one of two categories:
1) Evidence-based solutions with actual results: this is for abstracts that highlight programmatic results. We’d like to know about these results and ask, what’s next?
2) Future-focused solutions to transform health supply chains: perhaps you’d like to draw attention to a new approach that hasn’t yet had the chance to yield results. We’d like to know why this is a solution that will transform supply chains and the potential results.
As for sponsorship, PtD has sponsorship packages to suit all requirements and these can be tailored to suit sponsors’ objectives. More information about sponsorship can be found here or if you are ready to finalise the details, contact info@peoplethatdeliver.org.
