David Crewe-Brown is the General Manager of Vitalliance, a supply chain services organisation focussing on pharmaceutical healthcare. David has deep supply chain knowledge from 20 years in the private sector with a global brewing organisation where his last role was planning manager for the African operation. More recently he supported the South African Ministry of Health on the GHSC-TA project, supporting the implementation of demand and supply planning processes. He is based in South Africa and has worked throughout Africa.

At Vitalliance, David has supported many countries across Africa with the implementation of eLMIS solutions including OpenLMIS and One Network. David is passionate about advancing supply chain and serves on the board of SAPICS (the Professional Body for Supply Chain Management) and as an external examiner for the Industrial Engineering Department for the University of Pretoria. He earned his MBA from the University of Cape Town, Cum Laude. He is also CPIM and CSCP certified and has completed his SCOR training.
