Esther Ndichu
Esther Ndichu is a renowned operations and corporate affairs executive known for her exceptional dedication to creating positive change in society and in the logistics industry. Over the last 25 years Esther has gained a deep understanding of logistics, public affairs and corporate philanthropy and played a pivotal role in shaping corporate social impact strategies for UPS.
During her tenure at UPS, Esther held several notable leadership roles including as the Vice President of Social Impact and Community Relations at the UPS Foundation, Managing Director of UPS in Southern and Eastern Africa and Vice President for Public Affairs for the India Subcontinent Middle East and Africa.
As the Humanitarian Supply Chain Logistics Director, she advanced the UPS Foundation’s global humanitarian efforts including managing key partnerships with key UN agencies and other international NGOs.
Esther was instrumental in developing the partnership between UPS and Gavi, a partnership which led to UPS support in developing and rolling out STEP, the Rwanda Drone Project amongst other initiatives.
She brings her leadership skills, her ability to work with multisector partners and passion for solving social challenges through logistics as exemplified in her TED talk “Hunger isn’t a food; it’s a logistics problem”
She is based in Nairobi, Kenya and is an avid farmer.
