Karen Hong
Karen Hong is a seasoned supply chain leader with over 25 years’ experience in fragile contexts, post-crisis countries, at the regional level and at headquarters. She is currently the chief of UNFPA's supply chain, which provides UNFPA with a responsive and resilient supply chain system across development and humanitarian settings.
In her previous roles, Karen has held senior positions at World Vision International, UNRWA, UNDP, and UNICEF. She has a proven track record of leading complex supply chain operations in challenging environments, and has a deep understanding of the needs of women and adolescents. Karen is a chartered fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Charles Sturt University, Australia. She is passionate about using her skills and experience to help UNFPA achieve its mission of ensuring that every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person's potential is fulfilled.
