Rawinkhan Srinon
Rawinkhan serves as the director of the Center for International Healthcare Logistics and Supply Chain (Health CLARE) and is a committee member of the MEng in Logistics and Supply Chain Program at Mahidol University, Thailand. With an interdisciplinary background in both pharmacy and engineering, her research focuses on healthcare and industrial logistics. Her key areas of expertise include operations management, vaccine cold chain logistics, supply chain traceability, human resources for healthcare supply chain management (HR4HSCM), value-based healthcare delivery systems, and the application of data analytics in supply chain optimization.
Rawinkhan led the research project Development of Cold Chain Logistics Management System for Vaccine Products, where she helped design the system architecture and develop new business processes for an efficient vaccine cold chain track-and-trace system. The system architecture was created just-in-time to serve as the foundation for another research and development project titled Development of Track and Trace System for Storage and Transportation of COVID-19 Vaccine (Cold Chain Logistics), in which she also played a significant role. The system ensures stringent temperature control and traceability throughout the transportation and storage of vaccines, from import to vaccination, in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health and other key stakeholders. Additionally, she was part of a working group appointed by the Ministry of Transport to promote rail freight transport in Southern Thailand. She also led a project that analyzed Human Resources for Supply Chain Management (HR4SCM) in Thailand using the Theory of Change (ToC) framework and Rapid Diagnostic and Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
In addition to her research contributions, Rawinkhan actively develops and delivers customized short-course training programs aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of professionals in healthcare, service, and industrial supply chains. Her work demonstrates a strong commitment to improving healthcare supply chains, strengthening human resource capabilities, and bridging the gap between academic research and practical applications.
