World Health Worker Week 2 – 8 April 2017

World Health Worker Week provides the opportunity to mobilize communities, partners, and policy makers in support of health workers in your community and around the world. It is a time to celebrate the amazing work that they do and it is a time to raise awareness to the challenges they face every day. Perhaps most importantly, it is an opportunity to fill in the gaps in the health workforce by calling those in power to ensure that health workers have the training, supplies and support they need to do their jobs effectively.

In honor of World Health Worker Week 2017, the Human Resources for Health in 2030 (HRH2030) program has put together a series of podcasts in which project directors explore some of the human resources for health (HRH) obstacles that impede access to quality health care and discuss solutions.
